Netflix is a popular international online streaming platform offering four packages with a wide variety of content to viewers in Kenya. With as low as Ksh. 200, you can enjoy a vast library of movies, TV shows, documentaries, and news, updated weekly with fresh content.
Netflix has emerged among the best streaming services in Kenya, competing with local giants like DStv Stream, Showmax and GoTV Stream.
Currently, Netflix no longer offers free mobile plans for mobile and tablet users. However, you can sign up and subscribe to the mobile plan (going for Ksh. 200) and continue enjoying your favourite shows.
The Netflix app has a parental control feature for managing kids’ viewing preferences.
And if your internet speed is low, Netflix adjusts the video resolution according to your internet speed to ensure seamless streaming.
Netflix Packages in Kenya and Prices, 2026
As of June 2025, Netflix offers the following packages in Kenya:
- Netflix Mobile: Ksh. 200 per month
- Netflix Basic: Ksh. 300 per month
- Netflix Standard: Ksh. 700 per month
- Netflix Premium: Ksh. 1,100 per month
While you can stream unlimited content in all four plans, the difference only arises in the video quality and the number of devices you can watch on at a time.

Let’s explore each plan in detail.
1. Netflix Mobile Plan
The mobile package costs Ksh. 200 per month and is only available for mobile phones or tablets. You can watch this package only on one device at a time.
You have access to a wide variety of TV shows for the whole family, original series, movies and documentaries.
The only downside is the video quality, which is limited to Standard Definition (SD). This works well for smaller devices.
2. Netflix Basic Plan
The Netflix Basic package now costs Ksh. 300 per month.
You can stream with this package on a smartphone, tablet, computer and smart TV.
You have access to all Netflix content in HD, with a video quality of up to 720p. However, you can only watch on one device at a time.
3. Netflix Standard Plan
At a monthly subscription of Ksh. 700, you have access to all Netflix content at an HD resolution of up to 1080p.
The Netflix Standard package allows you to stream on your smartphone, tablet, computer or smart TV, and you can connect two devices at a time.
This plan also allows you to add an extra viewer outside your household at an extra fee.
4. Netflix Kenya Premium Package
The premium package costs Ksh. 1,100 per month and can be streamed in Ultra HD (4K) and HDR resolutions.
This ultimate Netflix package can be streamed simultaneously on up to four supported devices. You have the option of connecting two extra members outside your family, at an extra fee.
You can also download on up to six supported devices for offline viewing.
