KCB Mobile banking has made it very convenient for customers to transfer money from their KCB accounts to any MPesa accounts without the need to visit banking halls. You can withdraw money from KCB to MPesa using the USSD code *522# or using the KCB App.
You will need to register and activate KCB mobile banking services on your SIM card before enjoying the convenience of sending money from your account to MPesa, by following simple instructions or visiting your nearest KCB branch.
How to Send Money from KCB to M-Pesa
There are two ways you can use to withdraw money from your KCB account to M-Pesa:
Send Money to M-Pesa Using the KCB App
- Install the KCB App from the Google Play Store
- Open the App
- Next, select Vooma Services
- Select the KCB Account you want to send from
- Next, select Send to Self or Other
- If you selected Other, enter the MPesa number you want to send to
- Enter the Amount you wish to send and Submit
- Enter your KCB mobile banking PIN and complete the transaction
- You will receive a message confirming the transaction
Send Money to M-Pesa through USSD Code *522#
- Dial *522# from the number registered on KCB mobile banking
- Select the option Send Money
- Next, select Send to M-PESA
- Select KCB Account as the source of funds
- Next, select Send to Own Number or Other Number
- If you selected Other Number, enter the MPesa number you wish to transfer money to
- Select the KCB Account you want to send from
- Next, enter the Amount you wish to transfer
- Enter your KCB mobile banking PIN
- Confirm that the transaction details are correct and then submit
- You will receive confirmation messages from KCB and MPesa
