The Equitel Sim Card is linked to your equity bank account hence you can send money directly to another equitel line user or Mpesa at very low rates.

How to Send Money from Mpesa to Equity Bank Account

Mpesa will charge you a given rate depending on the amount you wish to deposit to an equity account. To send money to Equity account do this:

  • Go to Mpesa Menu and select Lipa na Mpesa
  • Select Pay Bill
  • Enter Equity bank business number: 247247
  • Enter Equity bank account number you wish to transfer to
  • Enter the amount you wish to deposit
  • Enter your Mpesa PIN and press OK
  • Confirm the details are correct and finalize the transaction
