TSC score sheet and qualifications for secondary and college teachers

The TSC has just advertised for the 2020/2021 mass recruitment exercise of additional teachers and the replacement of teachers for secondary schools who exited the service through natural attrition. A further 4,000 secondary school teachers and 1,000 primary teachers will be recruited in 2021 to support the government policy on 100 percent transition.

The deadline for the application is 12th July 2021.

Update: TSC Interns now stand a chance to secure TSC employment since TSC now awards 30 marks in the interviews to all serving interns.

This article presents the new TSC recruitment guidelines for secondary school teachers and the revised TSC score sheet for secondary teachers for 2020/2021.

Kindly try to consider diploma teachers who graduated at various teacher’s training colleges, it’s pathetic that a diploma candidate who did KNEC examinations and got distinction is at par with the a candidate who got a 2nd class lower at the University level, how I wish that you can be in a position to understand how KNEC as an examination body is strict and how their examination are always set such that you cannot compare with the ones the university graduates do, some of the candidates who did their diploma at the teacher’s training colleges was just due to lack of fees that could enable them pursue their courses a the university level, kindly revisit the score sheet to allow them compete favourably with the candidates who graduated at the University. Thank in advance
