How to Check KJSEA 2025 Results

The Ministry of Education, through Cabinet Secretary of Education, Julius Ogamba, officially released the 2025 KJSEA results on the 11th of December 2025. The CS announced that all the 1,130,459 candidates who sat the exams will transition to senior secondary school as of January 12, 2026.

The CS also announced that the learners can access the KJSEA 2025 results online by visiting the official KNEC portal. The KNEC website does not charge any fees for accessing the results.

The CS also revealed that the placement of the 2025 grade 9 candidates in the government senior secondary institutions offering the CBE curriculum will commence the following week and end by December 20, 2025.

The learners will be placed in appropriate schools offering the career pathway based on their performance in the exams.

How to Access the KJSEA 2025 Results

For Individual Candidates:

1. Go the the official KNEC link: https://kjsea.knec.ac.ke
2.  Enter the Assessment Number and at least one Name of the candidate
3. Accept the Privacy and Access Notice (click the checkbox)
4. Proceed to Search the Results

For the Schools:

The junior schools can download the results for their candidates following these steps:

1. Login to the CBA portal https://cba.knec.ac.ke
2. Click on the Results menu
3. Click on the download link to view and download the results for the school
