Degree Programs
The undergraduate degree courses at the institution require a minimum of C+ in the Kenya Certificate of Education (KCSE). Additionally, for education programs, you must have scored C+ and above in the two main subjects you wish to teach.

Diploma Programs
Gretsa University’s diploma courses run for five semesters and are completed within two calendar years. The minimum requirement for most diploma courses is a C- in the Kenya Certificate of Education (KCSE).
However, for education programs, applicants need a minimum mean grade of C+, along with a C+ in the two subjects they wish to be trained to teach. Additionally, a C- in English and a D+ in Mathematics are required.

Gretsa University Fees for Various Courses
The fee varies for each course at each level. Typically the fee for undergraduate degree courses ranges between KSh. 67,000 and KSh. 72,000 for the first semester for freshers.
If you wish to undertake the course through Virtual & Distance Learning, you will pay KSH. 59,500 for the first semester.
For diploma courses, most programs on average charge KSh. 40,500 full-time and KSh. 35,500 for virtual & Distance Learning, at the first semester of joining the university. For the Public Health diploma you will pay KSh. 48,000 for the first semester, first year.
