Thika School of Medical and Health Sciences (TSMHS) is a private, accredited TVET institution offering various certificate and diploma courses in the medical and health sciences fields. TSMHS is affiliated to Thika Nursing Home and has MOUs with other hospitals so as to produce highly skilled personnel with practical experience.
Students at TSMHS are also easily exposed to employment opportunities through industrial attachments in various hospitals.
The main campus of TSMHS is located along Thika Garissa Highway, 200 m from Ananas Mall. The 3 other campuses are located in Kitui, Kisumu, and Mombasa.

Diploma courses take 3 years to complete and generally require a KCSE mean grade of C- and above, with exception of some medical courses requiring a C plain in KCSE.

1. Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery
Requires at least C plain mean grade in KCSE, C plain in English or Kiswahili, C plain in Biology, C- in Chemistry, and C minus in Mathematics or Physics.
2. Diploma in Radiography and Sonography
Requires a C plain in KCSE and C plain in each of the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Physical Sciences, or Biology.
3. Diploma in Environmental Sciences
Requires a KCSE mean grade of C plain in addition to C plain in each of the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Physical Sciences, or Biology.
4. Diploma in Community Health & HIV Management
Requires a minimum of C- in KCSE.
5. Diploma in Community Health & Development
You need at least a C- in KCSE.
6. Diploma in Physiotherapy
Requires a minimum of C plain in KCSE or its equivalent, and C plain in English or Kiswahili, C plain in Biology, C- in Chemistry, and C- in Mathematics or Physics.
7. Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics
Requires a minimum of C- in KCSE.
8. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences
Requires at least C plain in KCSE.
9. Diploma in Medical Engineering
Requires a KCSE mean grade of C- and above. You must have done Biology in addition to Mathematics or Physics, or Passed a relevant craft course.
10. Diploma in Applied Biology
Requires a KCSE mean grade of C- and a minimum grade of C- in each of the following subjects: English, Mathematics, Biology or Biology Science, Chemistry or physical sciences, or a pass in a relevant craft course.

Requires at least C- in KCSE.
