Kenya Institute of Security and Criminal Justice (KISCJ) started in the year 2002 with the mandate to offer training courses in Security, Criminology, and Forensic Investigation programs. KISCJ now boasts of over 14 campuses spread in designated areas around the country. KISCJ now offers diploma, certificate, and short courses to members of the security forces and the general public.
The minimum entry requirement for diploma courses is a C- in KCSE. Certificate courses require at least a D+ in national high school exams. This is with the exception of some technical certificate courses which require one to have scored a C in KCSE.
You can opt to study under the full mode (Monday to Friday) or part-time (Saturdays) and Evening classes. KISCJ also offers online courses under the Distance Learning Mode (DLM).

Certificate Courses Offered at KISCJ
Certificate course duration depends on the mode of study. Full-time takes 1 month, part-time 6 months, DLM 3 months, and evening classes take 3 months to finish.

Kenya Institute of Security and Criminal Justice Fee Structure
The fee for the diploma programmes is Ksh. 120,000 with an admission fee pegged at Ksh. 1,500. The fee for the certificate courses is Ksh. 40,000, and an admission fee of Ksh. 1,000. Short courses cost 10,000 shillings tuition fees.

If i want to pursue a degree course after a diploma in forensic and criminal investigation which institutions should i go to pursue my degree???
You can study Bachelor of Arts, Criminal Justice and Security Management degree course at Africa Nazarene University and Mount Kenya University, or Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Security Management at Dedan Kimathi University and JKUAT University, etc.
