The Kabete National Polytechnic Courses, Requirements, Fee Structure

The Kabete National Polytechnic is a public technical institution offering various engineering, hospitality, business, and technology courses.  The Kabete National Polytechnic is a TVET-accredited institution and boasts of being ISO 9001:2015 certified.

The Kabete National Polytechnic is the first TVET institution to Export Engineering Spare parts made in the college to the International market (China) after winning the Africa Tech Challenge (AFRITECH), sponsored by China.

Intakes for courses at the Kabete National Polytecnic take place in May and September.

Diploma, Certificate, and artisan courses offered at the polytechnic are accredited by KASNEB, KNEC, Pharmacy and Poisons Board, Kenya Medical Laboratories Technicians, NITA, TVETA, CDACC and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).

Diploma courses require KCSE minimum of C-, craft certificate courses require a minimum mean grade of D plain, while artisan courses require a minimum of D- in KCSE.
