Safaricom has now made it easier for the Safaricom customer to register and get an MPesa statement from the comfort of a mobile phone without having to visit Safaricom retail stores. After registering for the statement using the USSD *334#, you can request for a mini statement or a stamped and official MPesa statement at any time or on a monthly basis.
You might need MPesa statements either to track your financial transactions or to seek loans from financial institutions or some mobile loan apps.
Before getting the stamped e-statement in your email address, first, you have to register via USSD by following simple steps.
Features of the Safaricom MPesa e-Statement
- It is free and accessible to all registered MPesa customers.
- You have to opt in for on-demand or monthly statements by registering using the *334# USSD code.
- You can request for your M-PESA statement up to 3 times a day.
- The Statements are e-stamped automatically and verified as true statements from Safaricom without you going to retail centres to get them stamped.
- You can only register one email address, but you can change your email as many times as you want.
- You will receive your monthly statement sent once between 1st and 5th of every month.
- You can request MPesa statements varying by 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months or a specific date or period ranging within 30 days.
- To get statements older than one year, you are advised to visit a Safaricom Retail centre to receive them.
How to Register for MPesa Statement
Follow these simple steps to opt in for signed MPesa email statements:
- Dial *334# from your M-PESA registered line
- Select My Account
- Next, select the option M-PESA Statement
- Select Register for email statement
- Accept Terms and Conditions
- Enter a valid e-mail address
- Confirm that the details are correct
- Enter your M-PESA PIN
- You will receive an SMS confirming that your registration request has been received and is being processed.
After registering, you will receive a notification on the email address you provided. The email will have a one-time validation code (OTP) valid for 24 hours only.
You can now use the validation code (OTP) sent to your email to verify the email provided as follows:
- Dial *334#
- Select My Account
- Select M-PESA Statement
- Select the option Verify Email using OTP
- Enter the OTP sent on the email you provided
- You will receive a notification informing you that you have successfully registered your email address to receive monthly M-PESA statements.
Once registered, you will receive a monthly statement sent to your email once between the 1st and 5th of every month. You can follow the same steps to opt out of the monthly statements.

- Select M-PESA Statement
- Request either full statement or mini statement
- Your stamped statement will be sent to your email and a notification sent to you on SMS
- You can now login to the email you provided to download your statement.
- Use your ID Number as the password to open the MPesa statement.
