How to Pay GOtv Via Mpesa Paybill Number

You can easily pay your GOtv Kenya subscription using the Lipa Na Mpesa. No more hassle of visiting a store or waiting in queues. With just a few taps on your phone, you can quickly pay your GOtv subscription through  MPesa and continue enjoying your favorite shows without any interruptions.

Furthermore, the mobile money interoperability in Kenya has made it possible to pay for your GOtv package subscription from any mobile money wallet using the same GOtv paybill number: 423655.

At times, after paying for your subscription, you might encounter an E16 error on your TV screen. No need to worry! In such cases, simply follow the straightforward steps provided at the end of this article to reactivate your decoder.

How to Pay GOtv Via M-Pesa

To pay for GOtv using MPesa paybill option:

1. First, ensure your decoder is ON and connected to the antenna before you start the payment
2. Next, Select Lipa na Mpesa from the Mpesa menu
3. Select Pay Bill
4. Insert the GOtv paybill number 423655 under the business number
5. For the account number, use the ICU number located on the orange sticker at the bottom of the GOtv decoder
6. Enter the amount of the package you wish to pay for
7. Enter your Mpesa pin
8. Verify that the information given  is correct and then Send
9. After a short while, you will receive a confirmation message from GOtv and another notification from MPesa.

You’ll need to be patient and wait a little while for the decoder services to be reactivated.

How to Re-Activate GOtv Decoder and Clear Error E16

After successful payment for your package, sometimes no channel will be showing and instead, you will see a blank screen written Error 16.

You’ll have to activate your decoder in order to clear the error and start enjoying your favourite channels.

To clear the error and activate your decoder again, send a message with the word RESET followed by your decoder IUC Number to 22688.

You can also use the USSD code *423#  and follow the on-screen messages shown to reset your decoder and clear the error.

Alternatively, you can clear any GOtv error faster by visiting the GOtv Kenya Eazy Self-Service Website. You will then be requiredto enter your IUC number, select the error to clear, enter the capture text shown and click on the button FIX ERROR.
