Kasarani Technical and Vocational College is a government-sponsored TVC institution that offers practical skills to the youth in artisan, certificate, diploma and CBET courses, ranging from engineering, business, hospitality, and agribusiness. No matter the grade you have in KCSE, you can get a chance to pursue a career of your choice at the Kasarani TVC.
Kasarani Technical and Vocational College is located 1.5 km from Kamulu shopping center, off Kangundo road, in Kasarani sub-county, Nairobi. Intakes are done in January, May and September.
Diploma courses take 3 years to complete while certificate courses run for 2 years. Artisan and CBET courses take 1 year to complete.
Diploma and certificate courses at Kasarani Technical and Vocational College are examined by KNEC, while artisan courses have TVET CDACC as the main examination body.

- Diploma courses: KCSE Mean Grade C- (minus) OR Equivalent KNEC Craft Certificate
- Certificate courses: KCSE Mean Grade D (plain) OR Equivalent KNEC Artisan Certificate

How to Apply for Courses at Kasarani TVC
You can apply for the courses at the Kasarani TVC through the KUCCPS students portal or by visiting the Kasarani TVC website and download and fill the application form.
The duly filled application form can be hand-delivered to the principal, Kasarani TVC, or emailed to admissions@gmail.com. You can also visit the college and pick the admission form.
Kasarani TVC Fees
Kasarani TVC charges a fee of Ksh 56,420 per year in all their courses.
When you enroll in a TVET institution, the government pays for you a capitation fee of Ksh 30,000 per year for the duration of the course you are taking.
This means your parent or guardian will only pay for you the remaining Ksh 26,420.
If you are not able to cater for the ksh26,420, as a TVET student you have a chance to apply for a HELB loan up to Ksh 40,000.
