How to Transfer Money Between Mpesa and Family Bank

Family Bank Kenya has provided an easy way to deposit money from your Mpesa account to a Family Bank account. You can transfer money to your Family Bank account using the Family Bank’s paybill number 222111.

With the Family Banks Pesa Pap mobile banking services, Family Bank customers can also perform banking transactions anywhere from the comfort of their mobile phones.

You can access Family Bank Pesa Pap services by either downloading and installing their Pesa Pap mobile application or by dialing Family Bank’s mobile banking USSD code *325#.

How to Deposit Money from Mpesa to Family Bank Account

You transfer money from MPesa to Family Bank through the MPesa Paybill number or using the Pesa Pap app.

Transfer Money to Family Bank Via Mpesa Paybill

1. Go to the Safaricom Mpesa Menu and select Lipa na Mpesa
2. Select the Pay Bill option and enter Family Bank Business Number 222111
3. Next, key in your full Family Bank account number (12 digits)
4. Enter the amount you wish to deposit
5. Enter your Mpesa PIN
6. Confirm your details and send
7. You will receive confirmation messages from both Mpesa and Family Bank

Deposit Money Using the Pesa Pap App

Before using the Pesa Pap app, you need to register for mobile banking services at your nearest family Bank branch.

If you’ve already registered for mobile banking, follow these steps:

1. Download and install the Pesa Pap App from the Google Play Store
2. Login to the Pesa Pap app using the given credentials
3. Select Mpesa option
4. Next, choose the MPesa to Family Bank option
5. Fill in the amount you wish to transact and your Mpesa number
6. Submit and wait for the confirmation messages

How to Withdraw Money from Family Bank to MPesa

You can send money from your Family Bank account to a registered Mpesa user in Kenya through the Pesa Pap app or by using the Family Bank USSD code *325#.

Send Money through the Pesa Pap App

1. Login to the Pesa Pap mobile banking app
2. Select the M-PESA option
3. Next, select Family Bank to M-PESA option
4. Select “to own number” or “to other mobile” option
5. Next, complete the transaction details and then submit
6. After a successful transaction, the beneficiary will receive a notification from M-PESA
7. You will also receive a transaction message from Family Bank

Send Money through Family Bank USSD Code *325#

1. Dial *325# on your Safaricom line
2. Log in with your Pesa Pap mobile money PIN
3. Now, select M-PESA Option
4. Select Family Bank to M-PESA option
5. Next, select ‘to own number’ or ‘to other mobile’ option
6. Complete the transaction details and submit
7. The recipient will receive notification from M-PESA

You can also transfer money to Airtel money users using the Family Bank Pesa Pap mobile banking.
