USSD shortcodes provide a simple way to access mobile subscription services from any mobile phone. You do not need a smartphone to access Safaricom services using USSD codes. You just have to dial a * followed by the code and end with a #.
Safaricom services you can access with USSD shortcodes include topping up airtime, checking balances, loan application, MPESA services, Bulk SMS, and mobile banking services.
Remember USSD codes start with a * and end with a #. With these codes, you have access to services from the comfort of any place without the need to visit an agent or Safaricom offices. You can also access Safaricom services from a Kabambe phone without the need for internet or bundles.
