After the initial applications for degree and diploma courses by KCSE candidates towards the end of high school, students get a chance to do a first and second revision to their choices directly on the KUCCPS students portal. The CS for education on Monday officially launched the opening of the KUCCPS portal for the first revision and application for university and college placement for government sponsorship.
The KUCCPS application portal will run from 24th, May 2021 to 11th, June 2021. KUCCPS, on their website, invites all the KCSE candidates to apply or revise their courses and institution choices.
The government usually provides sponsorship to students who apply through the KUCCPS Placement service.
Minimum KCSE Mean Grade Requirements for Revision of Courses
KUCCPS has set the following minimum mean grade entry requirements for various course levels:
Diploma: C- (minus)
Craft Courses: (D)
The KCSE 2020 class with C+ and above have a chance to apply for placement in over 200,000 declared capacities in university for government sponsorship.
The rest, irrespective of the year, have a chance to apply for chances in over 400,000 government-sponsored slots in public TVET institutions.
How to Check KUCCPS Course Placement 2021
Usually, at the end of the first course and institution revision exercise, KUCCPS will display the institution you have been placed right on their students portal.
