Showmax is a streaming package that allows you to watch TV shows, series, kids’ shows, documentaries and movies on your internet-connected smart TV, mobile device or computer. However, you can add Showmax to your DStv subscription at no extra cost for the premium package and a 50% discount for the DStv Compact and DStv Compact Plus packages.

However, DStv customers on Family, Access and EasyView packages can add Showmax to their DStv bill but will pay the standard Showmax price.

How to Add ShowMax to Your DStv Bill

DStv Premium Subscribers

DStv Premium subscribers can add Showmax to their monthly subscription at no additional cost. Here’s how to do it:

1. Visit the DStv self-service website.
2. Sign in with your Multichoice ID.
3. Click on My Products.
4. Choose the DStv Premium package.
5. Click Add Showmax on the Showmax banner.
6. Accept the quotation generated.
7. You will be redirected to the Showmax website to create an account, sign in, and start watching.

Other DStv Packages

For DStv Compact and Compact Plus, you qualify to add Showmax at a 50% discount. Subscribers on other packages will pay the standard Showmax rates.

Follow these steps to activate Showmax on your package:

1. Sign in to the DStv self-service website or app with your Multichoice ID.
2. Click on My Products.
3. Choose your active DStv package.
4. Select the plus sign (+) on “Add to the subscription”
5. Click Add Showmax on the Showmax banner.
6. Accept the quotation generated.
7. Click Add Showmax to proceed.
8. Choose between a Once Off or Recurring Payment.
9. Select Payment Method and complete the payment.
10. Create a Showmax account or sign in to watch.
