Salary Advance Loan

This is a short-term loan that helps customers meet their emergency needs pending their payday. You can access up to Ksh 300,00 with a flexible repayment period of up to 12 months.

Eazzy Loan

Eazzy loan allows you to borrow between Ksh 1,000 and Ksh 3 million instantly through the Equity Mobile App, Equitel line, or *247# with no guarantors or paperwork required. The loan repayment period is up to 24 months.

To be eligible, you should have an active Equity Bank account with a good credit history and regular income channeled through the account.

Home Loan

The homeownership or house loan enables Equity customers, individuals, and even groups (chamas) to purchase or complete house units or construct residential or commercial homes. The loan amount is based on your ability to pay over up to 100% of the property value for residential units (subject to eligibility and location).

The loan repayment period is up to 180 months (15 years)

However, your employer must have signed an MOU with Equity and be able to effect deductions through check-off, to qualify for this product.


This loan is specifically for salaried individuals whose employers have partnered with the bank. You can access loans ranging from Ksh 30,000 to Ksh 5 million repayable up to 6 years. The repayments are automatically deducted from your salary through a check-off system.

The maximum loan you qualify for depends on your income and ability to repay.

Other personal loan products are:

Plot loans: Employed customers can buy land and repay within 10 years.

Maji Loan: Access water and sanitation equipment funding through the Equitel line or Mobile App. Repay within 12 months.

Chama/ Group Loans

Pamoja Investment Loan

This loan targets men and women in small micro-enterprise groups. The group or chama can access loans ranging from Ksh 100,000 to Ksh 20,000,000, repayable within 7 years.

Chama Investment Loan

This loan product is designed for registered groups like companies, cooperatives, and associations. It offers loans between Ksh 100,000 and Ksh 100 million, with flexible repayment terms up to 7 years.

Micro Business Loans

This loan is available to youth between 18 and 35 years and enables them to access tailored loans for working capital, purchase of fixed assets for business, and improvement of business premises.

The product provides finances to projects dealing with agriculture such as dairy and horticulture.

Fanikisha Jamii

Targets of men and women above 18 years who are in small businesses and are within groups designed for household improvement.

Borrow loans between Kshs 1,000 and Ksh 500,000 with repayment periods of up to 12 months.

Boresha Biashara Loans

This is one of the types of Equity Bank loans that target men and women above 18 years in small micro-enterprise business groups looking to expand their businesses.

The groups can borrow from Ksh 5,000 to Ksh 5 million payable within 36 months.
