How to Pay Your DStv Uganda Monthly Subscription

It’s now very easy to pay for your DStv monthly subscription packages in Uganda, thanks to mobile money, USSD services and internet banking apps from some banks.

You can pay for your DStv Uganda package using methods like Stanbic Bank internet banking app, MTN and Airtel mobile money services, and Multichoice USSD *206#.

Pay DStv Uganda Via MTN Mobile Money

To pay for your DStv subscription using the MTN mobile money service follow these steps:

1. Dial *165# from your MTN SIM card.
2. Select Payments.
3. Next, select Pay TV.
4. To pay DStv, select the DStv option.
5. Now, select Pay DStv.
6. Select the package you wish to pay for.
7. Next, enter your DStv decoder’s smartcard number (first 10 digits).
8. Enter the amount.
9. Finally enter your PIN  and complete the transaction.

Paying DStv with Airtel Money

You can also pay your monthly subscription through Airtel Money by following these simple steps:

1. Dial *185# from your Airtel line.l
2. Select Pay Bill.
3. Next, select Pay Tv.
4. Select DStv option.
5. Next, select Pay DStv.
6. Enter your decoder smartcard number (first 10 digits).
7. Next, select the package you wish to pay for.
8. Enter the package’s amount.

How to Pay DStv Uganda Using the Multichoice USSD *206#

To pay DStv through Multichoice USSD code:

1. Dial *206# on your mobile line.
2. Select 1 for DStv.
3. Next, select A/c balance & payments.
4. Enter the first 10 digits of your smartcard number.
5. Select the option Pay now.
6. Select a payment method, MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money.
7. Finally, enter your PIN to complete the payment.

How to pay DStv Using Stanbic Mobile Banking App

To use this method, you will need to download the Stanbic Bank app for your Android phone or iPhone and have the app registered and activated for mobile banking with Stanbic Bank Uganda.

Then, to pay for DStv subscription, follow these simple steps:

1.  Login to the Stanbic Bank App.
2. Tap on Transact.
3. Select Buy Prepaid.
4. Next, select TV Subscription.
5. Select the option DStv.
6. Choose the account you wish to make the payment from.
7. Enter the package amount to pay.
8. Enter your Smart Card number.
9. Next, confirm the Payment details
10. Enter the One Time Password (OTP) that just sent to your mobile number, and complete the payment.
