Rift Valley Technical Training Institute (TTI) is a public TVET institution located in Eldoret and offers practical and industry-driven courses in artisan, craft, certificate, diploma and higher diploma.
Since Rift Valley Technical Training Institute (RVTTI) inception in 1962, the institution has now grown to be among the best TVET colleges in Kenya with a population of at least 6,000 trainees by the time of writing this article.
Rift Valley Technical Training Institute is now accredited to offer Competency-Based Education and Training courses (CBET).
All courses at the institution are organized into 8 departments:

Information Communication Technology Department
Pharmacy and Chemical Sciences Department

Intakes into RVTTI take place mainly in May and September.
Main courses are examined by KNEC while the competency-based education and training courses have CBET as the examining body.
Diploma courses at Rift Valley Technical Training Institute require a KCSE mean grade of at least C- (minus) or pass in craft.
Craft certificate courses require a D plain or pass in related artisan course, while artisan courses require at least a D- (minus) in KCSE or a KCPE certificate holder.
