SACCOs serve the common purpose of members by pooling resources together to help them access low-interest loans as well as save and earn dividends on their savings. This article lists some major or renowned SACCOs in Kenya, their branches and contacts.
To be a member of a SACCO, you have to fill a registration form at the SACCO branch or headquarter and do an initial minimum deposit.
From there hence, you will be required to remit at least a set minimum monthly contribution to remain active in the SACCO. These contributions go towards your savings.
